Hi! I’m Allyson- Doctor of Physical Therapy, Women’s Health & Nutrition Coach, Medical Yoga Therapist (Candidate), entrepreneur, outdoor & animal lover, wife and mother-to-be. Working in healthcare since 2000 in many different settings (from Pharmacy, Chiropractic, Hospital, Research, Physical Therapy, etc…) has given me a very broad view of our medical system- the good, the bad, and well, the ugly! During my own health struggles I found that two components missing in our healthcare model are wellness and a whole body approach to health.

Personally, I have dealt with hormonal imbalances, 2 abdominal surgeries, chronic pain & scar tissue, fatigue, nutritional imbalances, depression, adrenal fatigue and stress. This is why I chose to help other women. I know how hard it can be. I know the uphill battle you’ve been fighting. But, I can help.

Using a holistic and integrative approach I look at the ‘whole’ individual thru the biopsychosocial model taking into account physical, psychological and social aspects, nutrition, hormones, sleep patterns, breathing, stress levels and so much more. I strive to educate and empower my patients and clients to take their health and wellness into their own hands.

I have always felt a pull towards both Eastern and Western Medicine and training with Ginger Garner through Professional Yoga Therapy Studies has allowed me to really merge the two in my own practice. I also trained with Jessica Drummond with the Integrative Women’s Health Institute where I completed the Women’s Health & Nutrition Coach Program with specialization in optimal fertility and hormones.

These training’s plus countless hours of continuing education in Women’s Health have given me the tools and knowledge to work with women at all stages of life who wish to improve their health & find balance. I am able to skype with clients from the convenience of their own homes.

Originally I’m a Midwest girl along with my husband, Jake. We have lived in northeast Florida for several years now and enjoy being outdoors, family time, and traveling. While he is more of a Tough Mudder guy, I will stick with my yoga! We are expecting our first child, a girl, in May 2017.
